Gianni, who has been a successful restaurateur in Hong Kong is now starting as manager and partner in Fiona’s soon to open new restaurant near the Ocean City exit on Ring road 5 just north of Kaiyin. Cengiz and Laura boarded the ferry to head over to Hong Kong for the birth of their baby. They had given up the idea of having had the baby there until Cengiz’s good friend of eight years; David announced he could fix the problem by introducing his Uncle who was an obstetric and gynecological surgeon in Hong Kong.

They had booked into the hospital 10 days before the babies due date. But like his famous name sake the baby had other ideas and showed his independence. Cengiz…

 JUST ME AND MINE last night as we prepare for the fashion parade of Cengiz’s Spring / Summer 2012 collection. The date has changed to the 26^thMay as Cengiz wants’ to make this the party of the decade for Zhongshan.

It was amazing walking into the fabulous new Hilton LIHE Shopping Plaza. I could not believe that the work had been completed not just for JUST ME AND MINEbut for the whole complex. Cleaned, tiled and organized for business it was a pleasure to enter its wide open spaces.

Before I ventured off to Australia last Spring Festival I was invited to join Cengiz at the soon to opened Hilton Plaza. Still under construction it was a dank shell and I wondered how they could ever meet the opening date of April 28th on time. Not only the Just Me and Mine store but the Hilton complex itself. I could tell things were underway as it was impossible to take a picture not obscured, by dust from the work being done.

It was difficult to get a nice location at the Hilton…

Cengiz has many things going on in his life and some important announcements to make but when calling in to see him all he wanted to talk about was relaxing with his family on their spring break vacation. Cengiz, returning from Amsterdamhad dinner with and a party at one of his best friend’s Valker’s house.

Then only 4 hours later, missing Laura, was on the highway heading to her family home in Zhanjiang and taking her directly to Sanya, Hainan Island.

Cengiz had been in Holland for the fashion exhibition in Amsterdam which he attends twice a year. He made some pictures and videos of his time there, which he showed me, so I thought I would call in to get the full story.
